For this art mini-lesson, we had to teach the class how to do a specific art technique and intergrate a literature lesson with it.  We were to mention a specific a picture book that used the techniques in their illistrations and then build a literacy lesson around it. 

For my mini-lesson, I taught the students how to create a silhouette.  I intergrated a lesson on nouns to go along with it.  The students then had to write a story and underline all of the different nouns in the story.
