I plan to use are in my classroom as often as possible.  Art allows for studnets to be expressive and also makes learning fun.  It allows for the material to be visualso it can be easier to understand and meaningful to the students.  It also allows for them to show off their abilities and creativity through connecting with the material.  Art is dying off in many schools and we have to encourage and explain to others as to why it is so beneficial.  Art makes learning enjoyable and often helps students better understand the lesson.  It differentiates students from one another.  It makes each and every one of us unique in our own ways.  Without it, life would be so dull and boring.  I think students can definitely benefit from integraing art with education.
